1993. AJ Mclean and Howie Dorough met other during a Latin talent
competition since they're both Latin. Since they saw each other
at a lot of auditions they began singing cappella while waiting
for their appointments for some Nickelodeon shows. Their album,
Backstreet Boys became a quadruple platinum in Canada, double
platinum in Germany and really popular in Asia. The Backstreet
Boys have come home to the US with their popular single, "Quit
Playin' Games (With My Heart)" and their album, Backstreet
Boys was released on August 12, 1997."
