1. RealAudio Examples   [TOP]
To hear our RealAudio examples you will need a free version of the RealAudio Player software installed on your computer. Click here to go directly to their free download page.
The installation is very simple and you probably don't even nee to close your browser.

Our examples show you exactly what you get on the CD-ROM except for the sound quality which of course is much better than the low resolution examples.

2. How do the previews work?  [TOP]
The previews are a Flash system that lets you hear samples of the music in both Flash and RealAudio formats.
You can hear the Flash previews by clicking on the Flash play buttons flash pay button
You will see the play button 'fill up' while the audio file is being loaded.
The Flash examples are very low resoution monophonic version of the music or sound effects you will receive.

You can hear the RealAudio examples wherever you see this type of play button flash play button
The RealAudio examples are a bit higher quality stereo versions but still not the representative of the high quality of the audio files you will receive.

3. I don't see any Flash preview buttons! How am I supposed to hear this music!?  [TOP]
If you are using an older browser or for some reason do not already have the Flash player plugin installed, you will need to download the player plugin in order to hear our music previews.

To go to a page that will tell you the version of the Flash plugin that you need for your computer and browser click on the link below:

Flash Plugin Page

If you would like to see a list of all the Flash players that are available for free download pleasse visit this link

2. Download The Installer
The box on the middle of your screen should automatically show the correct version of the Flash player for your computer and a "download now" link. Click this link and follow instructions in any pop-up dialog boxes to select the location on your computer where you wish to save the download. It may be easiest to place the download on your desktop folder. When the download is complete, exit the browser.

3. Install The Player
The download process will place an installer file on your computer. Locate this installer and double click to open it. You will be shown a license agreement, with which you must agree. The installer will then automatically select the location of your browser and verify that you wish to install the Flash player in the same location.

4. Restart
then the installation process is complete, quit out of the installer and restart your computer. You may also wish to discard the installer file as you no longer need it.

4. What audio format should I get?   [TOP]
Although both formats should work on any machine certain programs are very platform specific. If you're using a MacIntosh computer you should select the aiff format version of the CD-ROM. If you use any form of Windows you should select the wav format version of the CD-ROM

5. What is a Music Loop?  [TOP]
A music (or sound effect) loop is a sound file that has been edited to loop seamlessly. If you're using the loop in an editing program you simply import the sound file and copy and paste the loop until you've made the music or sound track the length you want. Because the music loops are layed end-to-end they will sound like one continuous piece of music.

If you're using the loops in a web page you can set 'loop=true' when you're embedding the sound file. This will make the loop play seamlessly for as long as the page is open or until the visitor stops the music (a good rule is to always give the visitor a way to turn off the music).

Partners In Rhyme have taken the concept of music loops one step further by including categories of loops. The loops in each category are part of the same piece of music but edited down to individual parts. Each part can stand on it's own as a loop or be put together with any other loop in it's section. This enables you or your editor/programmer to build your own customized sound track with the musical changes where you need them and to the exact length you need.

6. What can I use this music for?  [TOP]
You can:

- use and distribute these sounds in a Flash Animation, Powerpoint demo or any multimedia presentation.

- use these sounds on radio, television and in films without reporting to ASCAP or BMI

- use and distribute these sounds in a product such as a toy or an alarm clock.

- remix our music into your own music (simply adding vocals to our music needs special permission).

- use these sounds as a background sound for a web page

7. My credit card is good, why is it being declined?  [TOP]
When a card is declined it is usually because there is a mismatch in the billing info that was entered. Please check that the information you enter in your account area is exactly how it is listed with your credit card company.
Another common reason is ip address location. For example if you're using a US credit card from a computer in Australia it would probably be declined.

8. I want to buy a lot of stuff! I want a discount!  [TOP]
